Principal® has been offering dental benefits nationwide since 1982. This Principal® Dental Access Plan was added to the company’s offerings to help give individuals the ability to continue or start dental care that they would otherwise be unable to afford. Our customers include uninsured, underinsured, self-employed, retired, temporary-working, or part-time-working individuals in need of more cost-efficient dental procedures. We are proud to work with thousands of dentists and specialists locations across the United States.

Please note: We currently offer Principal® Dental Access Plan in Texas and New York. We are diligently working on expanding Principal® Dental Access Plan nationwide, so please check back soon for availability in other states near you.

Principal® Dental Access Plan (the “Plan”) is not insurance.  The Plan provides discounts at certain healthcare providers for dental services. The Plan does not make payments to the provider.  Members must pay for all dental services but will get a discount from contracted providers. The range of discounts vary based on type of provider, region, and services received. Dentists and specialists may not be available in all areas. Services in progress or provided before the membership effective date are excluded. Members can cancel within the first 30 days for a full refund, less the activation fee.  Activation fees are refundable in AR and MD.  The Plan does not meet the minimum creditable coverage requirements in Massachusetts.  The Plan is not available in all states.  Principal® Dental Access Plan is located at 9445 Farnham Street, Ste 100, San Diego, CA 92123.
